Omega Technologies Standard Grip Scale Description: Omega Technologies Standard Hi-Lok®, Hi-Lite® Grip Scale features red and black markings and replaces Hi-Shear® 2-612. Omega Technologies Standard Grip Scale is made of full-hard stainless steel and features markings that are electro-etched for durability. A 0.15” tip easily fits into 5/32” holes, while Hi-Shear® gauge .174” tip will not. The front, or red, side of the Omega Technologies Standard Grip Scale features 1/16” graduations and the reverse, or black, side features measurement graduations in millimeters. The thinner side of the Grip Scale is used to measure the thickness of materials to be fastened so that the proper length pin can be chosen. Omega Technologies Standard Grip Scale is satin finished 0.18 stainless steel with inches in red and metric measurements in black. Omega Technologies GS2-612, formally CATGS1, is equivalent to the Hi-Shear&re; 2-612 Grip Scale.
