Sturtevant Richmont PST 1200 & PST 2000 Pressure Sensor Transceivers are designed to enhance the accuracy and reliability of high-speed pneumatic torque controlled tools used in assembly processes. These transceivers work with the Global controller to batch count and ensure all fasteners achieve the target torque, identify previously tightened fasteners to prevent re-tightening, detect cross-threaded fasteners during installation, and identify premature “clutch out” when the tool trigger or lever is released before reaching target torque.

The PST series is compatible with most trigger or lever-activated, ported torque sensing power tools, including continuous drive and shut-off pulse tools. By monitoring air pressure in the motor compartment and applying timers during the “run down” stages, the PST transceivers validate or reject fastenings, creating a more robust assembly process for pneumatic tools.
